The culture of hospitality is linked to a place, to the territory and to the history of peoples.  It speaks of the way people relate to each, the way they welcome one another and the reflects a sense of security and of a preciousness of  relationships. The space that welcomes a visitor narrates our history and our present, our traditions, but also a future of reassuring continuity.
This project is designed as a house, as an exclusive residence, where the space that welcomes the visitor speaks of history, of present and future.

The heart of the project is the garden which is designed according to an interpretation of a geometric element that returns as a theme throughout the project. The geometry, the rule and its variations produce regular shapes and figures and their articulation creates more changes in new scenarios. The reference to Islamic art is not mere imitation, but a contemporary interpretation of forms that become effective. Energy-efficient, visually effective, culturally effective.

Biomimicry, Nature enters into the project by forcing the vistas, creating space, shaping the volumes. The palms have conquered the hall, the roof, the garden. Nature has almost taken over the built space: it is always present, the waterfalls of the garden are always visible from all public spaces and seemingly natural.
The forms of nature re-conquer the graphic theme of the project by becoming volumes, solids defined by flowers and shrubs.
The term biomimicry Appeared as early as 1982. The term was popularized by the biomimicry scientist and author Janine Benyus in her 1997 book Biomimicry: Innovation Inspired by Nature. In her book Biomimicry is defined as a "new science that studies nature's models and that then takes inspiration from or imitates these designs and processes to solve human problems." Benyus suggests looking to Nature as a "Model, Measure, and Mentor" and emphasizes sustainability as an objective of biomimicry.

Architectural space, rules and variations run through the project with additions and subtractions of space, with alignments and offsets. The volumetric additions break the rigid geometry and the landscape is recognized as parts within a whole. The interior spaces are regular, large and comfortable. The logic of building space is understandable, cross the space is comfortable.
The interior space is always in a relationship with the outside world.

In-between space, a place to linger, a garden, a house poised between the time of arrival and departure. A time and a space that enriches relationships and opportunities, environments and rapports, opportunities for sharing and privacy.
Reflect in peace and in time of tradition in a modern welcoming space,  full of inspiration and potential.
The preciousness of relationships in the preciousness of time; in a place of magical atmosphere; a garden that unites.

"The endless and brief moment when ocean greets shore, when darkness welcomes dawn, when air levies earth, when inspiration becomes expiration...when dreams whisper to awakening. When life eases into death. A space where time is not as we know it to be: a time rich in mystery and magic."

The concept involves the construction of 5 villas, that are placed on a base containing common areas and reception services. The 5 two-storey villas contain 20 suites of 280 square meters on the second floor and 40 suites of 140 square meters on the first floor.  At roof level there is a garden with whirlpool tubs offering wonderful views towards the sea and the landscape. The entrance to the lobby of the residence is from the south. The five villas are similar externally but internally are the same and represent a unique egalitarian space. The views to the garden are shielded by large bronze sun screens that allow the passage of light filtered through the curtains. The division into five villas allows one to build the building quickly while beginning the construction of all five buildings without the constraints of site organization. The flexibility of the 3 types of suites allows one to fully articulate the number of types of suites within the same volume.
