The inspirational field of the project is from different but similar design and art worlds. In one side there is the shape like micro-macro design and the research of the minimum dimension in the
maximum space coming out from the ’70 works of James Eames Office with the video “power of ten”. In other side there is the research in the world of the hybrid shapes of Francoise Roche and R&Sie Architects and, as well, the artistic research of Daniel Steegman Mangramè with the narrative of the dialogue between the relationship between human/ animal life and the natural life.
The proposal is for a garden of about 150 m2 with sides of 10x12 m and a height of 4 m. The rounded the geometry of space, of the merged rooms, is coming out from the idea of the fusion of the shape of the cells of vegetation (bigger) and animal shape cells (smaller).
This fusion of shapes introduces the internal space that is an ancestral space with an earth/mulch pavement with some ferns and mosses area. From the holes in the ceiling, in black geotextile, the natural light comes as in a forest to bright some iridescent hanging wires above the fern. Outside the plants (herbs and perennials) cover the pavilion as one shape and some colorful sticks drill the envelope to appear inside, where the fluxes are mixed in one space (up/down, vertical/horizontal, animal/ vegetal) combining a new cell.
