Barsi Mountain Resort

The hotel aims at the enhancement and integration of the community and local traditions, so we designed a structure that lives in symbiosis with the hill, the spaces are modeled on the contours of the ground and blend with it. The shape of the land defines the volumetric size of the hotel, and its division into three levels that remain mostly hidden to the eye. The roof of the hotel will be a "unicum" with the surrounding meadows being manufactured with an advanced technology such extensive roof garden. The parties that emerge from the existing soil profile are the  parties, such as recalls, begin a dialogue with the surrounding mountains and its inhabitants to welcome them.
The accommodation program provides 50 suites, two restaurants, a conference room, a large bio-spa and a lounge bar open to the public. Service areas, storage and parking are placed to lower basement level. The large Bio-Spa will be accessible also to guests not staying at the Hotel, it will have a proper thermal area and  a "curative" area, an indoor and an outdoor pool facing the mountains, it will be a wellness program where land and water create a relaxing space, full of respect for the environment (bio-wellness), where guests will experience the care of the body and mind in balance with the more simple elements of the nature: light and sun.
