The architectural integration with the existing shopping mall of Akmerkez defining new external public spaces at different floors.
The west side of the complex is characterized by a series of seating features.
these marks the exterior spaces with a rhythm without distorting the organic shape of the building facade and maintaining a visual relationship between the spaces. The “seating features” are an acoustic barrier and define the pedestrian areas adjacent to the restaurants and the shops.
There are two project of the roof plan: the first is the landscape from high-rise. It's a beautiful facade for who look down composed by the low buildings of the lounge area and the steel canopy covered by green and solar tents;
The second is the 'Dehors' space that is a social space to stay in. It is a dynamic outdoor green space: green 'pillows' are accentuated by trees and shrubs; large curved benches with oval tables and green basket features.
The steel structural 'baskets' with benches and the steel structural 'baskets' support the green canopy. The creeping white bouganvillae covers the basket features and the steel structure of the pergola.
