Nuovo Palazzo della Regione Molise

The new building creates a relationship of continuity between the district and the park, putting itself  in the center.
The different volumes that constitute the building are adapted to the area and facilitate the transition from the city to the park . It remains the institutional building connotation to the city although permeable to the park.
The building is organized on different floors and in multiple layers, which contain homogeneous activities per floor, spaces that can be adapted to different configurations and uses.
The pathway fluxes are tracked so everyone can pass easily from the entrance to the various rooms placed on floors.
The design of the park takes into account the character of landscape of Molise region: a landscape with an high agricultural vocation, where farm work is one of the resources most used by the population of Molise.
The different cultivations that characterizes the agricultural landscape has produced form and content to the new urban park.
The surface has been drawn following the partition of the fields in each field and identifying a different crop; orchards (almond, olive), forests of oak, oak, from the cultivation of aromatic plants (lavender, rosemary, myrtle), the laying of flowering plants that can be found in the territory of Molise region: stars, rock roses, orchids. Human activities in the landscape becomes garden.
