The design choice for the arrangement of the internal areas of the buildings (courtyard) and for the areas dedicated to the private gardens in the western and northern parts was made with two different criteria linked to the conformation of the spaces.
For the internal courtyard, a highly vegetated space was privileged, which takes its cue from the vegetation that has currently taken root over the years of abandonment. In fact, the project intends to maintain the naturalness that the internal space currently has, but with control of the design and internal viability. For the private gardens, the linearity of the spaces, the permeable surface and better exposure allowed for a more formal arrangement.
