The project, for 18 housing units and a basement for service and support to the residence, reconstructs the internal courtyard morphologically similar to the layout of the Lombard farmhouse without a mimetic or nostalgic attitude but giving the architecture a contemporary interpretative language. The structure of the courtyard system is made up of a taller body, as in the farmhouses, and of non-aligned aggregate bodies and, instead of balconies serving the housing units, balconies (non-distributive) have been inserted with a frame structure in wood. Given the limitation of access to the area, vehicular and pedestrian access are side by side, the first leads to the level of the boxes and the second to the courtyard which is an open distribution space. The wall cladding is in shaded gray brick strip.
