Eco-house

The design for a Single-family house in Gallura involves with a critical interpretation of the traditional residence construction of these areas. The purpose is adapt the classical structure of agricultural building to the needs of comfort and to use bioclimatic techniques and ecological design.

The building is designed for optimization of resources and for obtaining more passive solar gains, the use of rainwater and reuse wastewater, a fan for the production of wind energy and some solar panels and heat trying to accumulate solar energy and make the building more autonomous from external supplies. The materials used are mostly local materials with extensive use of local construction techniques (roofing), the articulation of the architecture is compared with the place in order to establish a visual link with the relevant landscape elements and a comparison with those near the building.
