The renovation and expansion project of the Museum develops within a large design group. The restoration of the forties building provided the upgrading of the technical elements preserving the architectural quality while the expansion is designed to be visually separate from the existing structure and to enter into dialogue with it. A large glass roof unifies the covers, so it’s possible to connect the two buildings to the upper level, declaring in the existing yard and becoming the cover distribution centre of the internal museum complex.
