The Private garden is an oasis of Turkish delight with more than 200 varieties of plants and trees.
Indoors and outdoors spaces are inextricable. Most meals are taken outside, and dining terraces, tented by sailcloth, feature mammoth teak tables broad benches and banana wood settees with Ottoman motif pillows.
The olive trees are individual art pieces by nature and the large rocks, original to the landholding, seems totem sculptures. There are two swimming pools, one for the children and one for grandfathers.
The teak is the material for the outside paths near the swimming pools and the relax zone. A teak deck constructed around a centuries-old olive tree at the edge of propriety, is reached by steps fashioned from the wood of old railway sleepers.
